In partnership with Chappelow Sports Turf, Duralock designed and supplied a bespoke double mesh pitch barrier fencing solution for Leeds United Football Club to be installed at their Thorp Arch Training Ground.
The feedback has been extremely positive and the club have since installed additional fencing at the ground. The bespoke design with a full mesh infill has now been approved by the FA in accordance with The National League (NLS) step 1-4 ground grading requirements.
All Duralock sports fencing solutions are designed with safety in mind and to cope with high-speed sporting environments. PVCu naturally provides strength combined with flexibility, and Duralock fencing is designed to flex in the event of a collision, significantly reducing the risk of injury for players, officials, and spectators.
Leaders in sustainability: We have invested in new state-of-the-art extrusion tooling, meaning that by the end of 2022, the two core profiles that make up our fencing systems will be made up of 91% repossessed material, with a 9% skin for UV and impact protection. All PVCu off cuts generated by our Oxfordshire factory are now returned, repalletized and re-extruded into their profiles. Furthermore, we now provide a service to collect and re-cycle all end-of-life PVCu rails and re-extrude and re-supply the profiles.
